Michiganders Deserve to Know: Can Paul Junge Be Trusted To Protect Their Pensions and Social Security Benefits?

Paul Junge cowers as his Washington allies threaten Social Security benefits for mid-Michigan seniors

This week, thanks to the leadership of Rep. Dan Kildee, the House passed the Susan Muffley Act, legislation to restore retirement benefits to over 20,000 Delphi salaried retirees.

Rep. Kildee has been a tireless advocate for protecting mid-Michiganders’ hard-earned pensions and Social Security benefits. Meanwhile, out-of-touch carpetbagger Paul Junge has refused to come clean to voters about whether he supports Washington Republicans’ plans to cut – or completely dismantle – Social Security.

Mid-Michigan seniors deserve to know: would Paul Junge side with his party bosses who are coming after Social Security benefits?

“Paul Junge can run, but he can’t hide from his party’s toxic agenda that threatens the pensions and Social Security benefits Michiganders have earned,” said DCCC spokesperson Helen Kalla. “If Junge can’t be honest with voters about his position, he can’t be trusted to represent mid-Michigan in Congress.”
