Coffman Said Potentially Illegal Planned Parenthood Videos “Shock The Conscience” And “Fly In The Face Of Human Decency”
In light of the news that a Texas grand jury has criminally indicted the two creators of the heavily-edited Planned Parenthood videos and rejected criminal allegations against Planned Parenthood, it’s clear that Congressman Coffman was all too eager to launch a political witch-hunt that threatened healthcare for thousands of hardworking families in Colorado.
It’s important to remember that Coffman is uniquely hypocritical when it comes to Planned Parenthood. After using their logo in an ad last cycle, Coffman voted against funding for Planned Parenthood six times in the past year alone – a shamefully hypocritical move that was called out repeatedly by the local press.
“We have long known that Congressman Coffman wants to end a woman’s right to choose and cut access to vital healthcare services for hardworking Coloradans, but does he still stand with the now-indicted creators of these heavily edited and misleading videos? After six votes to defund Planned Parenthood, he owes his constituents an explanation – not more of his empty rhetoric,” said DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law.
