| With diesel prices at all-time highs, Nebraska gas prices at $4.20 a gallon, and grocery prices rising through the roof, Mike Flood voted to allow Trump’s war in Iran to continue and ignore rising costs. The war has cost taxpayers nearly $40 billion and fueled inflation.
Last night’s vote is the latest indicator of how out of touch Flood is from Nebraskans on an issue that is 20 points underwater.
In ceding all War Powers authority to Trump, Flood is reminding everyday Nebraskans that he doesn’t work for the hardworking families that he was elected to represent, he just does what his D.C. bosses tell him to.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Mike Flood is once again proving that he doesn’t care about Nebraskans struggling with rising costs. He would rather put Trump’s reckless war in Iran ahead of the needs of everyday Nebraskans. Voters know Flood is responsible for making their lives more expensive, and they’ll vote him out.” |
