Mike Johnson’s Grim Promise to Struggling Americans: “What we would do in the next two years is exactly what we have been doing already.”

Mike Johnson is so completely out of touch with the damage House Republicans have done, that he’s promising a continuation of the last two years, saying, “What we would do in the next two years is exactly what we have been doing already.”

After two years of gutting health care, price-hiking tariffs, and a war of choice in the Middle East that has made everything more expensive, these midterm elections are a referendum on House Republicans’ failures and broken promises.

Mike Johnson may want more of the same, but everyday Americans don’t.
