Lawler is busy courting donors and party extremists, not New Yorkers
Tomorrow, freshman Mike Lawler is scheduled to join a host of extreme MAGA Republicans at an RNC donor retreat in Nashville, Tennessee, including twice-impeached, indicted former president Donald Trump; Sen. Rick Scott, who has proposed cutting Social Security and Medicare for America’s seniors; and Mike Pence, a fervently anti-choice extremist who applauded a recent federal court decision to suspend FDA approval of mifepristone.
New Yorkers deserve answers to questions Lawler has thusfarrefused to answer, like:
Do you support Donald Trump’s call to defund law enforcement?
Do you support Rick Scott’s proposal to sunset Social Security and Medicare every five years?
Like Mike Pence, do you support the Texas judge’s decision to suspend FDA approval of mifepristone?
Will you support common-sense legislation to keep our kids safe from gun violence?
DCCC spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre
“Rather than answer to the New Yorkers concerned about access to abortion, gun violence, the ongoing debt ceiling crisis, and his party’s attempts to cut vital services for children and families, Mike Lawler is cozying up to high-dollar donors and extremists like Donald Trump and Rick Scott in Nashville, just days after a mass shooting shocked the city – and the nation. New Yorkers deserve answers from Mike Lawler.”
