This morning, Mike Lawler said the quiet part out loud about the extreme Republican Budget Scam, saying it’s “not realistic” to rule out cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
“We’re arguing over roughly 13% of federal spending, in terms of trying to find savings, and it’s just not realistic,” Lawler told Morning Joe when asked about the $880 billion in cuts needed to advance the House Republican tax scam.
Lawler and House Republicans have voted twice to advance a far-right budget that would enact the largest cut to Medicaid in history in order to fund trillions in tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations.
