Mike Lawler Prioritizes Buying Greenland Over Lowering Costs for New Yorkers

Amid rising unemployment, skyrocketing grocery costs, climbing utility costs, and the expiration of Affordable Care Act tax credits causing sky-high health care costs for 450,000 hardworking New Yorkers, Mike Lawler’s latest priority is allowing Donald Trump to use taxpayer dollars to BUY Greenland.

Lawler has joined CNN not once, but TWICE in the past week to defend Trump’s purchase of Greenland, admitting he supports “a sale or an expanded US military presence” in the country while dodging questions about whether his constituents actually consider buying Greenland a priority.
REMINDER: One year ago, Lawler cosponsored the Make Greenland Great Again Act in an effort to greenlight Trump’s purchase of Greenland days before he even took office.

Lawler and House Republicans promised lower costs for Americans on day one. One year later, they’ve delivered nothing but higher costs, dysfunction, and fealty to Trump’s latest absurdity.
