| Yesterday, Mike Lawler voted in lockstep with Donald Trump and extreme House Republicans to give the president unchecked power on his reckless war of choice in the Middle East.
As a result, costs are rising for hardworking American families who are paying more at the gas pump after already facing rising costs on health care, groceries, and utilities. A recent poll from CBS News and YouGov found 64% of Americans DISAPPROVE of Trump’s $25 billion dollar war in the Middle East and 51% of Americans have expressed financial hardship at the gas pump.
Earlier this week, Mike Lawler was fact-checked with his own campaign ad by CNN after refusing to admit that inflation and gas prices have risen because of Trump’s reckless war.
Just days earlier, Lawler stood by as Donald Trump’s Treasury secretary downplayed rising costs and dismissed the pain Hudson Valley families are feeling as a “blip.”
