In case you somehow missed it last week, Mike Lawler had a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day of trying and failing to defend his Medicaid cuts on national television.
During twoseparate interviews that both resulted in tense on-air shouting matches, Lawler claimed that the local hospitals and doctors in his district who are concerned about the nearly $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts he voted to pass were “parroting talking points” about having to cut back essential services and staff.
