Four-time indicted former President Donald Trump last night shared a video on Truth Social that referenced a “unified Reich” — a term widely associated with Nazi Germany.
This isn’t the first time Trump has attacked Jewish Americans during a time of heightened antisemitism. Just a couple weeks ago, in an interview with Sebastian Gorka, a top Trump administration adviser who has ties to Nazi-linked organizations, Donald Trump said: “Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion, they hate everything about Israel and should be ashamed of themselves.” The list of Trump’s antisemitic behavior goesonandon.
Mike Lawler – who represents one of the largest Jewish constituencies in the country and is supporting Donald Trump for the third time in a row – has yet to condemn Trump’s latest onslaught of hateful and antisemitic rhetoric.
This comes as no surprise, considering Lawler is a career political operative who worked to elect Donald Trump and publicly backed a virulent antisemite for county legislator, voted to cut funding for programs that combat antisemitism, and echoed Trump’s antisemitic fearmongering.
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Mike Lawler’s silence on Donald Trump’s dangerous attacks against Jewish Americans is in keeping with his growing record of uplifting antisemites.”
