Mariannette Miller-Meeks is doubling down on her support for extremist Mike Johnson, praising him as “respectful of others.”
Johnson’s so-called “respectful” record includes cheering on calls for doctors’ imprisonment with hard labor for performing abortions, leading efforts to slash seniors’ hard-earned Social Security and Medicare as the chair of the Republican Study Committee, and calling for criminalizing same-sex relationships.
Johnson’s dangerous agenda would be detrimental to Iowans, and Miller-Meeks’ resounding support proves once again that she’ll always side with the extremists in her party over doing what’s best for Iowa.
