Vulnerable House Republican Bruce Poliquin’s continued silence about whether or not he would support Donald Trump if Trump were the Republican nominee has prompted widespread concern over Poliquin’s missing backbone.
Poliquin needs to explain to his constituents in Maine whether or not he will denounce Donald Trump – whose views and rhetoric are so reckless that even prominent Republican national security experts have deemed that Trump would make America less safe.
In hopes of recovering the Congressman’s missing backbone, the DCCC is launching digital ads to help the search effort:
“Missing since Super Tuesday, when Donald Trump – deemed a national security risk by many prominent Republican foreign policy experts – became clear party frontrunner. Given his stated interest in keeping country safe, Poliquin’s backbone were expected to make an appearance to help him denounce Trump, but have not been seen. If found, please call 202-225-6306.”
“Bruce Poliquin can’t stay silent forever,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC. “It’s time for Bruce Poliquin to stand up and explain to his own constituents in Maine whether or not he will denounce Donald Trump – whose views and rhetoric are so reckless that even prominent Republican national security experts have deemed Trump would make America less safe.”
