This week, while the House was passing a bipartisan bill to lower the cost of housing for working families across the country, María Elvira Salazar was nowhere to be found.
Miamians and South Florida voters are on the frontlines of the housing affordability crisis with at least half of Floridians considering leaving the state, a vast majority of them citing astronomical cost of housing.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Miami voters are being priced out of their homes, their neighborhoods, and their communities. If María Elvira Salazar is misleading her constituents and taking credit for votes she couldn’t be bothered to show up for, then Miamians will replace her with a real leader who will fight for their ability to afford housing for their families.”
