Vulnerable Republican John Mica’s continued silence about whether or not he would support Donald Trump if Trump were the Republican nominee has prompted widespread concern over Congressman Mica’s missing principles. In hopes of recovering the Congressman’s missing principles, a digital ad will run in Florida’s 7th District that reads:
MISSING: Republican Congressman John Mica’s Backbone. Missing since Super Tuesday, when Donald Trump – deemed a national security risk by many prominent Republican foreign policy experts – became clear party frontrunner. Given his claimed interest in keeping country safe, backbone was expected to make an appearance to help Mica denounce Trump, but has not been seen. If found, please call (202) 225-4035.
“John Mica can’t stay silent forever,” said Jermaine House of the DCCC. “It’s time for Congressman Mica to stand up and explain to the people of the 7th District if he’ll support Donald Trump.”
