Primary Candidate Skeptical of Recovery, Famous NV Dems Chicken Joins the Hunt
Michael Roberson’s proud silence about whether or not he would support Donald Trump if Trump were the Republican nominee has prompted widespread concern over Roberson’s missing backbone and vocal cords.
At last week’s ‘feisty’ NV-03 Republican primary debate, the audience turned on establishment politician Roberson. The reaction is unsurprising as Republican primary voters continue to reject establishment politicians like Marco Rubio and rally behind outsider candidates like Trump.
Roberson’s outsider primary opponent Danny Tarkanian expressed his skepticism this week that the backbone and vocal cords could ever be found saying, “I don’t think he’ll show up to the next debate, I don’t think he will.”
In hopes of recovery, the Famous NV Dems Chicken is papering the streets of Nevada’s 3rd District with flyers that read:
“MISSING: Michael Roberson’s backbone and vocal cords. Missing since Nevada caucus when Trump clobbered Rubio and became Party’s frontrunner. Backbone and vocal cords were expected to make an appearance to help Roberson say if he would support Trump as the nominee, but haven’t been seen nor heard. If found, please call 702-612-6929.”
“Southern Nevadans deserve a Member of Congress who will stand up and speak up for them, which Michael Roberson has proved incapable of doing,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “It’s high time for Roberson to end his silence and start answering real questions – like whether or not he’ll support Donald Trump as the Republican nominee.”
