Missing Principles Could Help Knight Decide to Support Trump

Vulnerable Republican Steve Knight’s continued silence about whether or not he would support Donald Trump if Trump were the Republican nominee has prompted widespread concern over Knight’s missing principles.
Even though Knight naïvely said he didn’t think the women, Latino, and Muslim-hating billionaire could win “in a million years,” it wouldn’t be a stretch for Knight to support Trump since they’ve both made similar offensive comments about immigrants and symbols of hate.
In hopes of recovering the Congressman’s missing principles, the streets of California’s 25th District have been papered with flyers that read:
“Missing since last week when Trump refused to disavow the KKK. Principles were expected to make an appearance to help Knight say if he would support Trump as the nominee, but have not been seen. If found, please call 202-225-1956.”
“Steve Knight can’t stay silent forever,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “It’s time for Knight to stand up and explain to the people of the 25th District if he’ll support Donald Trump.”
