In the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, it’s important voters know just how extreme anti-choice GOP candidate Molinaro is. Molinaro has been on his crusade against women’s freedoms for years and shows no sign of stopping now.

Marc Molinaro opposed New York’s Reproductive Health Act, which codified Roe v. Wade into New York State law.

Molinaro opposed allowing Medicaid funds to be used for abortions, and even transfered funds from his state campaign account to an anti-choice organization that operated Crisis Pregnancy Centers, best known for lying to pregnant women about their care options.

He also claimed that “only poor people” got abortions without doctors.
Make no mistake: Molinaro and the Republican Party are on the wrong side of this issue. Polling conducted after the leak of the SCOTUS draft opinion overturning Roe shows: by a two-to-one margin, people oppose Roe being overturned; 80% of people believe abortion should be decided between a woman and her doctor; and nearly two-thirds of people oppose the GOP’s plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban.
Molinaro will be held accountable for his party’s role in this recent decision and his party’s plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban.
