MONICA DE LA CRUZ DID THAT: National Gas Average Rises to $4/Gallon

Monica De La Cruz continues to recklessly stand behind House Republicans’, which is rapidly accelerating the affordability crisis in Texas.

In Hidalgo County alone, gas prices are now at $3.77 gallon, and the national gas average just hit $4 per gallon, the highest since August of 2022.
REMINDER: Last month, Monica De La Cruz was bragging about low gas prices. Now that gas prices in the Rio Grande Valley are the highest they have been in more than THREE YEARS…silence.
The sharp rise in gas prices comes as everyday Americans are struggling to make ends meet as everything gets more expensive. A recent CBS News YouGov poll found that 53% of Americans say Trump is making people WORSE OFF financially. Even worse: 60% of Independents say Trump’s policies are making them WORSE OFF – up from 38% in October 2024.
