Today – again – vulnerable Republican Monica De La Cruz doubled down on her support for extreme House Speaker candidate Jim Jordan, who was endorsed by Donald Trump.
Jim Jordan is a radical candidate who authored the text of a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions, advocates for cuts to Social Security and Medicare as we know it, and actively attempted to block a bipartisan law that honors veterans exposed to chemical radiation like Agent Orange.
DCCC spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“Monica De La Cruz is a sell-out who time and time again caves to her extreme colleagues and fails to deliver common-sense solutions for everyday Texans. Her extreme agenda is unbecoming and a clear indication of just how out of touch she is with the people of Texas’s 15th Congressional district.”
