Monica De La Cruz Falls in Line, Votes to Support Trump-backed Speaker Candidate Jim Jordan

Today, Monica De La Cruz voted in support of MAGA extremist Jim Jordan for speaker. This follows Donald Trump’s endorsement of Jordan earlier this month.

Time and time again, De La Cruz has refused to work in a bipartisan manner to deliver for Texans – and instead, has chosen to enable her MAGA colleagues.

Thanks to De La Cruz, speaker candidate Jim Jordan would have the greenlight to push an extreme, dangerous agenda that:

• Bans abortion nationwide with no exceptions. 

• Blocks critical benefits for the brave men and women who served our nation.

• Defunds federal law enforcement.

• Cuts Social Security and ends Medicare as we know it.

• Repeals investments that are creating good-paying jobs and reinvigorating American manufacturing.
