| Monica De La Cruz is quickly working to save face as D.C. Republicans upend the South Texas construction industry.
In an editorial, even Texas Republicans are admitting it: across the Rio Grande Valley, Republican policies are creating labor shortages, slowing down construction projects, driving up housing costs, and sending shock waves throughout the economy.
While De La Cruz is off claiming that she plans to stand up to the Trump administration on immigration, the numbers don’t lie: De La Cruz voted with Trump on immigration 100% of the time.
Are these the “common-sense policy solutions for hard-working immigrants” De La Cruz was boasting about?
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“If there’s one thing South Texans can count on, it’s Monica De La Cruz lying to them. De La Cruz is loyal to her D.C. party bosses, and doesn’t care if her constituents are collateral damage. De La Cruz’s desperate attempts to save face won’t change the fact that she’s responsible for harming a main economic driver in South Texas. Voters aren’t fooled – they’re going to hold her accountable this November.” |
