This weekend, four-time indicted, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saluted convicted January 6 insurrectionists and declared there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election.
Monica De La Cruz has deliberately chosen to stay silent in the wake of this hateful speech.
Trump has also “pledged to launch an unprecedented deportation effort if elected, pointing as inspiration to a 1954 program called ‘Operation Wetback’ that used military-style tactics.” This “inhumane” and dangerous policy would create “the largest domestic deportation operation in American history.”
De La Cruz owes Texas voters an answer about why she’s complicit in Trump’s dangerous, violent rhetoric.
