| With diesel prices at all-time highs, Texas gas prices at nearly $4 a gallon, and grocery prices rising through the roof, Monica De La Cruz voted to allow Trump’s war in Iran to continue and ignore rising costs. The war has cost taxpayers nearly $40 billion and fueled inflation.
Last night’s vote is the latest indicator of how out of touch De La Cruz is from Texans on an issue that is 20 points underwater.
In ceding all War Powers authority to Trump, De La Cruz is reminding everyday Texans that she doesn’t work for the hardworking families that she was elected to represent, she just does what her D.C. bosses tell her to.
