MOWERS COWERS: Matt Mowers Refuses To Distance Himself From Senior Advisor and Endorser Accused of Stalking, Sexual Harassment

Mowers Stands by Advisor as Trump PAC Dumps Him

Yesterday, Politico reported Matt Mowers advisor and endorser Corey Lewandowski has been accused of harassing a woman over the weekend.

Four first-hand witnesses corroborated a woman’s claim that Mowers senior advisor Corey Lewandowski made unwanted sexual advances, inappropriately touched, and stalked a woman at a Las Vegas charity event.

In response to the claims, former President Trump’s Super PAC dumped Lewandowski over his alleged behavior.

When asked by WMUR about the allegations, the Mowers campaign responded, “We appreciate that Corey is lending his time and talents to our campaign, and we have no further comment.”

This weak dismissal of these serious allegations calls into question the motives, judgment, and character of Matt Mowers and his campaign.

DCCC Spokesman James Singer

“If Matt Mowers is more concerned about getting a Trump endorsement than standing up for women, he has disqualified himself from serving in Congress. The craven, weak-kneed politics of Mowers may fit in with his insider lobbyist friends out-of-state, but they have no place in the Granite State.”
