| Everywhere Anna Paulina Luna goes, scandal-ridden Republicans seem to follow — and she’s standing by them every step of the way.
SHOT: Despite ongoing allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use, Luna has been one of Matt Gaetz’s staunchest supporters, saying “I’m not going to engage in this B.S. narrative that he’s some crazy sex trafficking convicted pedophile because he’s not.”
 
CHASER: Groundbreaking reporting today reveals that a civil suit has been filed against Gaetz accusing him of “participating in an alleged sex trafficking scheme involving young women, drugs and traveling across state lines.”
Not only has Luna been repeatedly caught campaigning with and defending Gaetz, but her political campaigns have been financially boosted by him over the years.
REMINDER: This isn’t the first time Luna has cozied up to alleged abusers. After domestic abuse allegations surfaced against Rep. Max Miller, Luna rushed to his defense, saying she did “not know Max to be a violent person and have only ever found him to be incredibly kind and honorable,” and continued to actively fundraise with him. And just last year, Luna loudly promised to release the Epstein files, but when a bipartisan bill to actually force the release of those files came to the floor, Luna voted to block it.
