NEW: Another Fact Check Finds Special Interests’ Attacks on Rep. Marcy Kaptur “Not Accurate” [WTOL]

Yet another fact check has found that Big Pharma’s latest attacks on Representative Marcy Kaptur are FALSE.

A new fact check from WTOL ruled that ads running against Rep. Kaptur are “not accurate” and that “Congresswoman Kaptur did not vote against Medicare or Medicaid.”

This is the second time independent news media has analyzed these claims, following a fact check from WTVG, to find that Republicans and Big Pharma are lying about Rep. Kaptur’s record – and they’re lying because they know they can’t beat Rep. Kaptur’s actual record of prioritizing Ohioans over special interests and fighting to protect the hard-earned benefits Ohioans depend on.

Watch the fact check for yourself.

WTOL: “The vote in question was not about cutting Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security. Kaptur has consistently voted in favor of protecting those programs. And the ad’s claim? It’s not accurate.”

WTOL: “So we can verify, NO, Congresswoman Kaptur did not vote against Medicare or Medicaid. The ad is based on a vote taken out of context.”
