New polling from Navigator confirms that the American people overwhelmingly support the historic efforts House Democrats took last Congress to lower costs and grow the middle class. At the same time, the public is deeply frustrated with House Republicans – who remain underwater with voters – and their repeated displays of extremism, chaos, and dysfunction.
The research found that two of Congress’ most popular achievements in the past few years are giving Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices and the CHIPS Act – both passed by a Democratic House majority. These two accomplishments have broad bipartisan support, including three in four Republicans and seven in ten independents.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“When Democrats hold the House majority, they deliver on the issues that matter most to everyday families. House Republicans only deliver chaos and MAGA fealty, which is why voters will help Democrats retake the majority in November.”
