| New data released earlier this week proves that House Republicans’ reckless policies are spiking energy costs on Florida families – and María Elvira Salazar, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Laurel Lee are to blame.
Under total GOP control of Washington, Floridians are paying $150 more on electricity in 2025 – a nearly 10% jump from 2024.
Let’s not forget: Salazar, Luna, Mills, and Lee fell in line to vote for the Big, Ugly Law that made Florida’s energy affordability crisis even worse. The extreme GOP bill is expected to cost Americans $170 billion more in increased energy bills over the next ten years.
Is it any surprise that even fellow House Republicans are admitting that “no one thinks we’re keeping the majority” in November?
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“María Elvira Salazar, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Laurel Lee ran on a pledge to slash energy costs and deliver real relief for working families – yet at every turn, they’ve voted to do the exact opposite. As Salazar, Luna, Mills, and Lee sell out Floridians to cut deals and give tax breaks to utility company bigwigs, voters won’t forget this betrayal, and will kick them all out in November.” |
