| New data released earlier this week proves that House Republicans’ reckless policies are spiking energy costs on Kentucky families – and House Republicans are to blame.
Under total GOP control of Washington, Kentuckians are paying $190 more on electricity in 2025 – a nearly 12% jump from 2024.
Let’s not forget: Ryan Dotson and Ralph Alvarado supported the Big, Ugly Law that made Kentucky’s energy affordability crisis even worse. The extreme GOP bill is expected to cost Americans $170 billion more in increased energy bills over the next ten years.
Is it any surprise that even fellow House Republicans are admitting that “no one thinks we’re keeping the majority” in November?
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“House Republicans ran on a pledge to slash energy costs and deliver real relief for working families – yet at every turn, they’ve voted to do the exact opposite. As Ryan Dotson and Ralph Alvarado compete to join the group that is selling out Kentuckians to cut deals and give tax breaks to utility company bigwigs, voters won’t forget this betrayal, and will refuse to support them in November.” |
