| New data released yesterday proves that House Republicans’ reckless policies are spiking energy costs on New York families – and Mike Lawler is to blame.
Under total GOP control of Washington, New Yorkers paid $190 more on electricity in 2025 – an 11.4% JUMP from 2024.
Let’s not forget: Lawler fell in line to vote for the Big, Ugly Law that made New York’s energy affordability crisis even worse. The extreme GOP bill is expected to cost Americans $170 billion more in increased energy bills over the next ten years.
Is it any surprise that even his fellow House Republicans are admitting that “no one thinks we’re keeping the majority” in November?
DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Mike Lawler ran on a pledge to slash energy costs and deliver real relief for working families – yet at every turn, he’s voted to do the exact opposite. New Yorkers won’t forget this betrayal, and will kick him out in November.” |
