| New data released earlier this week proves that House Republicans’ reckless policies are spiking energy costs on Tennessee families – and Andy Ogles is to blame.
Under total GOP control of Washington, Tennesseans are paying $200 more on electricity in 2025 – a nearly 12% jump from 2024.
Let’s not forget: Ogles fell in line to vote for the Big, Ugly Law that made Tennessee’s energy affordability crisis even worse. The extreme GOP bill is expected to cost Americans $170 billion more in increased energy bills over the next ten years.
Is it any surprise that even fellow House Republicans are admitting that “no one thinks we’re keeping the majority” in November?
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Andy Ogles ran on a pledge to slash energy costs and deliver real relief for working families – yet at every turn, he’s voted to do the exact opposite. As Ogles sells out Tennesseans to cut deals and give tax breaks to utility company bigwigs, voters won’t forget this betrayal, and will kick him out in November.” |
