| New reporting from Politico details how David Valadao refuses to return campaign cash from alleged domestic abuser Max Miller. Politico reports that Valadao “did not return requests for comment” and has “remained quiet in recent days about whether [he]’ll give Miller back his money.”
Over the past several weeks, multiple Republican senators called for Max Miller’s resignation, including Senators Bernie Moreno, Jon Husted, Tim Sheehy, Shelley Moore Capito, and Roger Marshall.
REMINDER: Valadao also received campaign donations from Tony Gonzales, who resigned from Congress after he publicly admitted to an inappropriate affair with a staff member, and from a campaign committee affiliated with Chuck Edwards, who the House Ethics committee recommended be censured over “substantial reason to believe” that Edwards had “violated House rules related to sexual harassment and hostile workplaces.”

“David Valadao will do anything to hold on to power, including ignore credible allegations of domestic violence and abuse because he would rather keep his campaign coffers full than do the right thing.”
