New DCCC Billboard in Tucson Declares Juan Ciscomani “The Congressman Who Stole Health Care”

DCCC calls out the vulnerable Republican ahead of the holidays for the GOP health care crisis

Today, the DCCC is launching a new mobile billboard campaign in Tucson that holds vulnerable Republican Juan Ciscomani accountable for soaring health insurance costs being unleashed on hardworking Arizonans ahead of the holiday season.
For months, Ciscomani has made empty promises about his support for the Affordable Care Act tax credits:

Polling consistently shows Americans want the tax credits extended and that Republicans will be blamed if they expire. Without them, Arizonans in Ciscomani’s district could pay thousands of dollars more each month for their health care. Nearly 14,000 of Ciscomani’s constituents are expected to lose their health care due to cost.

REMINDERDespite admitting cuts to Medicaid would “jeopardize” and “threaten” Arizonans’ health care, Ciscomani cast a key vote for Trump’s Big, Ugly Law, which included the largest cut to Medicaid in American history to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires.

The Arizona Hospital and Health Care Association is warning that Ciscomani’s Medicaid cuts will lead to half of all Arizona hospitals operating in the red, forcing many to either eliminate services or shut their doors altogether. At least five Arizona hospitals are at immediate risk of closing.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Juan Ciscomani is going full ‘grinch’ with cruel cuts to health care and his refusal to deliver lower costs for hardworking Arizonans. The Republican health care crisis will be the defining issue in AZ-06 ahead of the 2026 midterms, and the DCCC will hold Ciscomani accountable for helping create it.”
