NEW: DCCC Launches Digital Ad Campaign Targeting Black Voters Struggling with the Republican Cost of Living Crisis

As electricity bills rise, digital ad campaign targets battleground Black voters

Today, the DCCC launched a five-figure digital ad campaign targeting battleground Black voters across the country who are paying the price of reckless Republican policies that have made life more expensive.

House Republicans have created a cost of living crisis that’s left families unable to afford their everyday expenses. Nearly 60% of voters across the country say “they worry about affording the very basics,” including rent, groceries and utilities, while 11% say they cannot afford the basics at all.

See the ad below:

The digital campaign will reach competitive districts where Black voters are a key electorate, including:

  • MI-10
  • NC-01
  • NE-02
  • OH-01
  • OH-09
  • OH-13
  • NY-04
  • PA-10

The ads will run on YouTube and Meta through the end of February.

DCCC National Black Engagement Director Tierra Ward:
“Let’s be clear: The Republican-led cost of living crisis is crushing Black families. We will make sure that Black voters know who’s responsible for their struggles to buy groceries, afford housing, and cover their utility bills. And come November, House Republicans will pay the price.”
