NEW: DCCC Launches Digital Ad Campaign Targeting Rural Voters Over Republicans’ Foreign Beef Betrayal

“You don’t put America first by putting U.S. cattle producers last.” – U.S. Cattlemen’s Association President Justin Tupper

Today, the DCCC is launching a digital ad campaign targeting rural voters in nine districts across the battleground. The ads highlight how Republicans have remained silent as the Trump administration opened the gates to thousands of tons of foreign beef, betraying American farmers and ranchers for the second time in as many years. As cattle farmers and ranchers struggle to rebuild their herd size amid historic input costs, drought, and consolidated markets, D.C. Republicans have decided supporting foreign producers and cheap political talking points take priority.

The ad campaign is part of the DCCC’s Our Power, Our Country program — the earliest-ever investment House Democrats have made to engage rural voters and voters of color who are an essential part of Democrats’ path to victory.

The ads will reach rural voters in AZ-02, CA-22, IA-02, KY-06, MN-01, MT-01, NM-02, NY-21, and TX-28.

The ads will run on Meta.

DCCC Rural Engagement Manager Jacob Burg:
“American farmers and ranchers are being rode hard and put away wet on behalf of foreign producers. They are long owed long-term stability, fair markets, and leadership that listens. This Republican plan does not lower our grocery bills, it replaces the American cattleman.”
