NEW: DCCC Launches National Ad Campaign Calling Out House Republicans For Shutting Down the Government & Highlighting Democrats Protecting Affordable Health Care

New ads targeted in 13 competitive districts with key Latino, Black, and AANHPI voting blocs

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is announcing a new national four-figure ad buy calling out vulnerable House Republicans who voted to shut down the government – all because they refuse to fix the health care crisis they created.

The national digital campaign, targeting key Latino, Black, and AANHPI battleground voters, also includes ads reminding voters that Democratic Frontliners are the ones fighting to protect Americans’ access to affordable health care.

The digital ads begin running this weekend on Facebook and Instagram in English and Spanish. They come on the heels of the DCCC’s national ad campaign last week targeting voters in all 35 of the DCCC’s Districts in Play, blasting vulnerable House Republicans for deliberately creating a health care crisis while steering the country towards a government shutdown.

REMINDER:
New polling shows the majority of Americans blame Republicans in D.C. for the government shutdown – by a 17-point margin.

DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:
“Vulnerable House Republicans shut down the government because they don’t care about working Americans having access to affordable health care. While Republicans create a health care crisis, House Democrats will keep working to lower Americans’ health care costs. Make no mistake: vulnerable House Republicans own this shutdown, and the DCCC is making sure voters know who to blame.”
