New DCCC TV Ad in TX-21: Chip Roy Sold Out Texans with Pre-Existing Conditions

Starting today, “Know” will reach Texans in the 21st District as part of the DCCC’s $1 million San Antonio TV buy

Today, the DCCC released its second television ad in Texas’ 21st Congressional District, “Know,” continuing to expose Congressman Chip Roy’s dangerous record as a lifelong political insider who can’t be trusted with Texans’ health care. The ads will reach Texans in the 21st District on broadcast beginning today as part of the DCCC’s $1 million San Antonio TV buy.

Just like the DCCC’s first TX-21 TV ad, at the center of the 30-second spot is Congressman Roy’s time pocketing $130,000 from a special interest group that’s suing to overturn the entire Affordable Care Act – and then advancing their reckless agenda to end protections for Texans with pre-existing conditions in Congress.

WATCH: “Know

“Too many Texans with a pre-existing condition have known the high cost of health care, but $130,000 from a special interest group helped Congressman Roy sell them out,” DCCC spokesman Avery Jaffe said. “By now, Texans know the truth: Congressman Chip Roy is dangerous and can’t be trusted to look out for Texas families when they need him, especially when their health care is on the line.”

Know anyone who’s had coronavirus?

How about asthma or breast cancer?

Well, here’s something else you need to know:

Chip Roy was paid $130,000 by a group that wants to gut protections for Texans with pre-existing conditions.

And when he got to Congress, he supported doing the very same thing.

So if you’re concerned about them…

Don’t vote for Chip Roy. We can’t trust him with our health care.
