New Television Ad Reminds Voters What’s at Stake in This Election
The DCCC launched a new ad in NY-24 today reminding voters of exactly what is at stake in this election. The ad is airing on broadcast in Syracuse.
“Biggest Risk” focuses on the Trump-Katko quid pro quo agenda of doling out favors like massive tax handouts to corporate special interests in exchange for millions in campaign contributions. All at the expense of Social Security and Medicare.
With Trump and Katko in office, no one is looking out for Central New York.
“At a time when we’re facing unprecedented public health and economic crises, working families across Central New York can’t afford the Trump-Katko agenda,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “John Katko and Donald Trump’s agenda has ushered in higher taxes, exploded our deficit, and threatened Social Security and Medicare all while giving handouts to the special interests funding their campaigns. The people of Central New York cannot afford two more years of John Katko. There’s too much at stake. Re-electing him is just too risky.”
TRANSCRIPT
In times like these, we can’t take risks like John Katko.
With Trump and Katko in Washington – politicians get campaign cash, and corporate special interests get favors and handouts.
And we feel the pain: higher taxes and drug costs, trillions in debt, and Social Security and Medicare threatened.
The biggest risk to our recovery? That with Trump and Katko in office, no one is looking out for Central New York.
