Ciscomani under fire for distorting his abortion position
Today, the DCCC is launching a new video highlighting Juan Ciscomani’s extreme anti-abortion record in Congress.
The video shows Ciscomani’s failed attempt to conceal his voting record and position on reproductive freedom.

“When you vote for the bill – yes, there’s a lot of things in there that end up being in that line item,” Ciscomani told a news reporter when pressed why he has voted for new federal restrictions on abortion.
Last summer, Ciscomani pushed a fervently anti-abortion amendment in the Appropriations Committee that would prohibit mail delivery of the safe abortion medication mifepristone nationwide. Since then, the spending bill for the Department of Agriculture and the F.D.A. has been derailed because of this anti-abortion provision.
Despite claiming time and time again that abortion should be left up to the states, Juan Ciscomani broke his promise to Arizonans. Now with a record in Congress, Ciscomani has voted to restrict:
