NEW: Economic Concerns Are Driving Latinos Away From Republicans

Hispanics have seen little relief under Republican control of the White House and Congress”

Bloomberg reports that a survey from late February shows 55.6% of Hispanics “cited the economy or inflation specifically as their biggest concerns ahead of the midterms,” with 25% saying their financial situation is worse than a year ago.

“With only a handful of seats needed to give Democrats control of the House, nearly a dozen Republican-held House seats with sizable Hispanic populations are considered vulnerable in the November midterm elections, according to a Bloomberg News analysis and ratings by the Cook Political Report.”

Economic concerns are a top issue for ALL Americans who are struggling to afford basic necessities, while the latest Republican war has caused gas prices to hit almost $4 per gallon (up from $2.94 a month ago) on average.

DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“Republicans have publicly admitted they do not care if the American people are struggling to afford food, housing, or health care. House Republicans’ sole mission has been to green light every reckless and irrational command issued by Trump, and Americans are sick of it.”
