New reporting reveals that Gabe Evans continued to pay his political director after coming under pressure to fire her for pushing conspiracy theories, racist and antisemitic rhetoric, and calls for political violence.
Evans – who has still refused to condemn his aide’s rhetoric – admitted he only fired the staffer for political reasons after her posts were exposed.
It’s no surprise Gabe Evans continues to cozy up to – and even hire – extremists. Evans himself has pushed conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, cozied up to far-right groups that aim to rewrite the Constitution, and compared same-sex marriage to “incest…and bestiality.”
