New Grand Jury Report Reveals Michelle Steel Betrayed Orange County’s Trust

Yesterday’s Orange County Grand Jury report shows extent of Michelle Steel’s corruption

damning report released yesterday by an Orange County Grand Jury reveals that while serving as Orange County Supervisor, Michelle Steel pushed a deal to allow a campaign donor to purchase Orange County public land for pennies on the dollar in order to increase his home value – in clear violation of established regulations.

While previous reporting broke the news of Steel’s corrupt land deal with her campaign donor, yesterday’s findings from the Orange County Grand Jury offer the most comprehensive report to date of Steel’s impropriety.

The report was issued to prevent corrupt deals in direct violation of the public interest from occurring again, stating Steel’s blatant misuse of influence was “concerning.” Since the publication of the Grand Jury’s report, Michelle Steel has left the county supervisor position to bring her corrupt ways to Congress.

DCCC spokesperson Maddy Mundy:

“The Orange County Grand Jury’s findings offer irrefutable proof to confirm what we already know: Michelle Steel cares more about her wealthy donors than her responsibility to Orange County families.”
