Yesterday, the Albuquerque Journal blasted New Mexico Republican candidates for refusing to answer a simple question: “Do you believe former President Donald Trump’s claim that he was the legitimate winner of the 2020 presidential election? (Yes or No answer only, please).”
Election deniers Yvette Herrell and Michelle Garcia Holmes refused to answer yes or no to whether the 2020 election was stolen despite overwhelming proof that claims of fraud are false.
Two years after a legitimate election, Herrell and Garcia Holmes’ continued election denial proves they will not hesitate to throw out Americans’ votes if they disagree with the results.
“New Mexico families need their representatives to understand and fight for their needs, but Yvette Herrell and Michelle Garcia Holmes are hellbent on denying basic facts of reality,” said DCCC spokesperson Maddy Mundy. “Voters are sick of these extremists’ conspiracies. Herrell and Garcia Holmes will be held accountable for the role they both still play in weakening trust in American elections.”
