The National Journal’s 2024 House Power Rankings listed California’s 22nd Congressional District as one of the top 20 most competitive races in the country.
This comes as no surprise, considering vulnerable California Republican David Valadao voted for devastating cuts to critical services included in MAGA Republicans’ failed Friday C.R. and previously cosponsored legislation to ban abortion without exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother…and is now facing a Trump-inspired primary challenger.

“David Valadao is one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the country for a good reason – and Californians are going to hold him accountable at the ballot box next year.”
