The National Journal’s 2024 House Power Rankings listed Oregon’s 5th Congressional District as one of the top fifteen most competitive races in the country. The House Power Rankings comes on the heels of Roll Call ranking OR-05 one of the top races for 2024.
This comes as no surprise, considering vulnerable Oregon Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer voted for devastating cuts to critical services included in MAGA Republicans’ failed Friday C.R., previously flip-flopped on her stance on protecting abortion rights, and cosponsored a bill to limit access to SNAP benefits for working families in Oregon.

“Lori Chavez-DeRemer is one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the country for a good reason – and Oregonians are going to hold her accountable at the ballot box next year.”
