The National Journal’s 2024 House Power Rankings listed New York’s Nineteenth Congressional District as the 9th most competitive race in the country. The House Power Rankings comes on the heels of Cook Political ranking NY-19 one of the top races for 2024 as well.
This comes as no surprise, considering vulnerable New York Republican Marc Molinaro voted for devastating cuts to critical services included in MAGA Republicans’ failed Friday C.R., backtracked on campaign promises to restrict abortion nationally for servicemembers and their families, and protected criminally-indicted George Santos.
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Marc Molinaro is one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the country. Make no mistake, we’re going to hold Molinaro accountable next fall.”
