The National Journal’s 2024 House Power Rankings listed New York’s Twenty-Second Congressional District as the 6th most competitive race in the country. The House Power Rankings comes on the heels of Roll Call and Cook Political ranking NY-22 one of the top races for 2024 as well.
This comes as no surprise, considering vulnerable New York Republican Brandon Williams voted for devastating cuts to critical services included in MAGA Republicans’ failed Friday C.R., backtracked on campaign promises to restrict abortion nationally for servicemembers and their families, and protected criminally-indicted George Santos.
