New Pennsylvania Billboard Asks One Simple Question: Does Brian Fitzpatrick Support Trump?

Drivers on PA’s I-95 and I-295 will know that vulnerable Rep. Fitzpatrick has been caught swerving between two different lanes

Brian Fitzpatrick’s reelection campaign is going about as well as a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam, and the vulnerable Republican is most definitely feeling the squeeze.

Starting today, Pennsylvania drivers traveling northbound on I-95/I-295 near Exit 40 will spot a billboard asking one simple question that their local congressman has been trying to dodge for years: Does Brian Fitzpatrick Support Trump?

The billboard campaign comes directly on the heels of recent reporting from the Bucks County Courier Times detailing how Fitzpatrick is taking heat back home from those on both sides of the political aisle. As PA-01 Republicans hit the congressman for “his stances and votes [that] have no basis in a set of values or principles that are typically associated with Republicans,” the Courier Times rightly points out that “on bigger issues such as the 1/6 Commission and pandemic relief […] Fitzpatrick still aligns himself squarely in the pro-Trump group of Republican lawmakers.”

No amount of switching lanes can change that fact that when it has mattered most, Brian Fitzpatrick has sided with Trump and GOP extremists over his PA-01 constituents.

“Fitzpatrick’s flailing reelection campaign is stuck in reverse with its hazard lights blinking, and the congressman is clearly confused whether to turn left or right,” said DCCC spokesperson James Singer. “This new billboard asks a simple question that PA-01 voters have been wondering for years: does Brian Fitzpatrick support Trump?”
