Today, new polling from Navigator Research shows voters trust House Democrats to deliver on the most important issues for them and their families – painting a grim picture for the future of the dysfunctional House Republican majority.
Notably, Democratic incumbents have a strong, net positive rating with voters (+8) while Republican lawmakers remain underwater (-3).
This increasing disapproval of House Republicans comes as voters overwhelmingly trust – by double digits – Democratic incumbents to handle the issues that matter most, including defending abortion rights (+25), protecting democracy (+15), lowering health care costs (+14), and protecting the middle class (+11).
7 in 10 voters continue to believe that House Republicans are prioritizing the wrong things since taking control of the House and aren’t focusing on economic issues. 55% of voters additionally believe that Republicans are more focused on economic policies that benefit the wealthy and big corporations.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“In increasing numbers, voters trust House Democrats to deliver for them and their families. Folks across the country know Democrats are fighting for them, and will reject MAGA extremism this November to help us reclaim the majority and get the People’s House back to work.”
