| Voters will punish House Republicans like David Valadao if they fail to extend the ACA tax credits before they expire at the end of the year, according to a new poll from KFF.
The poll also found 58% of people with health insurance from the Affordable Care Act would not be able to afford a $300 increase in premium.
Valadao recently wrote a phony letter to Mike Johnson saying Congress should act to extend the ACA tax credits and make health care more affordable, but has refused to take any real action.
214 of Valadao’s colleagues have signed onto a discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits for three years. Why hasn’t Valadao?
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“The clock is ticking for Valadao to take action on fixing the Republican health care crisis, but he is refusing to act. Valadao will be held accountable for his cruelty next year.” |
